as Jay Halstead Jon Seda, who used to star on the NBC drama, is selling
his Chicago house. It looks like Jon Seda is giving up the Chicago life
for good (or at least for now), as he put his house in the Lakeview
neighborhood on sale for $1.79 million. The actor played Detective
Antonio Dawson on the popular NBC dramas Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
for almost eight years before. He currently stars on a different NBC
series titled La Brea. LA BREA -- "Day Two" Episode 102 -- Pictured: Jon

According
to The Chicago Tribune, Seda's four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home
was put on the market earlier this month by listing agent Stefania Campo
and her husband, Frank. The actor and his family originally bought the
house in 2016 for $1.45 million. The official listing states that the
5,000-square-foot home, built in 2007, has three floors and a basement,
with amazing amenities such as a sauna, roof deck, two-car garage, and
even an indoor pool. Also included in the listing is a detailed
description of the home: "When entering you can't help but notice the
one-of-a-kind architecturally significant 2 story open entry as your
eyes trail up to the soaring ceiling you will notice the beautiful,
detailed bannister that borders the upper landing and grand staircase."
It
continues, walking you through the house and all of its great features,
"The large living room and dining room have a host of oversized windows
that pour in natural light. The beautiful fireplace adds a touch of
elegance that make sitting in the space very relaxing."For the 2021 tax
year, the Chicago home had a $30,096 property tax bill.Seda likely
decided to list the house since he's no longer working on any of the
shows that film in Chicago, and his new series, which is set in Los
Angeles, actually shoots in Australia. Luckily for Seda, his new sci-fi
drama is quite popular, and it just got renewed for a third season, as
reported by Deadline.
