The Peripheral will live to see another season since Amazon has renewed it for Season 2. It’s based on the novel of the same name by William Gibson. The Amazon science fiction series follows a young woman Flynne Fisher, who tries to fill in the missing pieces of her broken family. Chloë Grace Moretz stars as the lead in the series and is an executive producer. It also starred Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, and more. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan are executive producers of the series and did this project with their overall deal with Amazon. Joy and Nolan produced this under Kilter Films. Scott B. Smith developed the Amazon science fiction series, is the showrunner, and is an executive producer. Amazon Studios and Warner Bros. Television produced it. Chloë Grace Moretz will continue telling Flynne Fisher’s story for Season 2 of The Peripheral.

Moretz must have done some good work for The Peripheral to be continued into Season 2. It’s uncommon for child actors to become adult actors with the level of success that Moretz has. She continues to play strong and resilient characters with compelling storylines. Joy and Nolan are pumped to see their project renewed and will be able to continue to tell the story through Moretz.
