Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was recently merged with Streets of Rage 2, bringing enterprising developer Savok to release Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Re-Revenge. This brand new ROM hack is currently available on the popular modding platform known as ROMhacking.Although the game was primarily produced by Savok, the release has several credits, most notably PPI_Akiko for “code porting, coding, hacking, numerous fixes” and some work on the “story screen”. Escayelle also introduced a “new story”.According to the official description, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Re-Revenge includes many brand new gameplay elements, including redesigned characters, enemies and bosses, as well as “new attacks that will surprise experienced players.” The mod also features “new sounds for players and enemies” as well as “a new story written for the game” and an exciting new “Turbo Mode”.
Player reception for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Re-Revenge has been overwhelmingly positive.
